Rhysida Ransomware Gang Claims to Have Hacked Three More US Hospitals

The Rhysida ransomware group has targeted three additional US hospitals, adding to the list of victims after the recent attack on Prospect Medical Holdings. The Mississippi-based Singing River Health System which operates three hospitals and 10 clinics, experienced a cyberattack at the end of August. The incident has impacted various services, including laboratory and radiology testing. Cyberattacks on smaller regional healthcare providers can have significant consequences, as seen with St. Margaret's Health partially closing operations due to a previous ransomware attack in 2021.
