Palo Alto Networks to Acquire Israeli Enterprise Browser Security Firm Talon

Cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks is set to acquire Talon Cyber Security, an Israeli startup specializing in enterprise browser technology. The acquisition aims to strengthen security for unmanaged devices used by employees to access work-related material. Last week, Palo Alto Networks purchased cloud safety firm Dig Security. The deals contribute to Israel's thriving cybersecurity industry, which has been targeted by cyberattacks amid the ongoing conflict with Hamas. Talon, founded in 2021, had secured $143 million in funding. Palo Alto Networks is the largest standalone cybersecurity company globally, with a market cap of nearly $73 billion.
