
Nord Security Raises $100M on $3B Valuation to Go After M&A
Nord Security, the maker of the popular VPN service, has raised $100 million on a $3 billion valuation in a funding round led by Warburg Pincus. The investment will be used to accelerate growth through mergers and acquisitions and expand the company's product offering. Nord Security provides internet privacy and security solutions, including encrypted cloud storage, network access security software, a password manager, and NordVPN. The company aims to bring innovative features and address the needs of both professional and casual internet users. Nord Security has previously raised $200 million in funding and merged with consumer privacy and security vendor Surfshark.
