Hackers Email Stolen Student Data to Parents of Nevada School District
The Clark County School District (CCSD) in Nevada has suffered a cyberattack, with hackers gaining access to the district's email servers. The hackers, who call themselves SingularityMD, are now emailing parents with their children's stolen data, including photos, addresses, student IDs, and email addresses. The hackers claim to have data for 200,000 CCSD students and are demanding payment from the school district. CCSD has disabled external access to its email system and forced password resets for students. The district is cooperating with law enforcement in their investigation.
