Companies Scramble to Integrate Immediate Recovery Into Ransomware Plans
More than one-third of companies do not have a comprehensive ransomware strategy in place, according to a survey by Zerto. The report highlights that 35.4% of companies are not prioritizing recovery, which is concerning as ransomware attacks are becoming more sophisticated. Only 56.6% of companies focus on both recovery and prevention, indicating a lack of a holistic approach. The survey also shows that 66.2% of companies are reevaluating their data protection and cyber resilience strategies. Companies are urged to adopt a more holistic approach that includes recovery, data protection, and cyber insurance to better protect against ransomware attacks.
